Brianne Pragg, Ph.D.
I am a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Department of Sociology at Case Western Reserve University. Previously, I studied at Penn State, where I received my dual-title Ph.D. in Sociology and Demography in 2020.
My work uses a life course perspective to study how family relationships develop and change over the life span and how those relationships impact individuals’ well-being. Some of my projects examine estranged relationships between adult children and their parents, parental leave use by fathers and its association with father engagement in early childhood, and relationship quality between adolescents and their parents in diverse family structures.
